Jungle Gym

Here are a couple of pictures of the new jungle gym going up at "Martha's House". The materials have all been purchased by Valley Christian High School in California. We are so grateful to Lincoln, another missionary in the area and good friend, for his tools, his time, and his expertise in the area of building. Lincoln and Jenny have sent so much help our way on this project and we are extremely thankful. There is a lot of work to be done still on the jungle gym and we hope it will be finished soon.

Phokeng Fun Day

What a blessing it was to host the STAK team for one week in February. We love high school teams because the impact on the team is sometimes greater than the impact on the outreach community and this group of young people was awesome!! We were so blessed by their hearts to serve and their eagerness to love and share with the people of South Africa.

In addition to the spiritual ministry the team did in Freedom Park, the Hospice, and Phokeng they brought with them generous funds to bless the orphan care project. Our after care centre, now officially called "Martha's House" was given a new refrigerator, deep freeze, stove, bunk bed, and dresser. In addition, the team supplied materials for a new jungle gym and desk for the students. We were amazed at the gifts that seemed to never end. One afternoon they hosted a "Fun Day" at the centre and everyone had a wonderful time!

What a blessing you were to us Valley Christian! God was glorified through this team in countless ways and we were privileged to witness it.
