Character in the Body of Christ

Last Monday night I hosted an event at church for our women's ministry. We had such a great time together talking about friendship, our desires, our expectations and so much more. And as always the food was amazing! I dearly love my time with these women.

Just before the event, I received an email reminding me that I was on the schedule as the writer for Faith Station in September and could I submit my work. Faith Station is a daily devotional distributed via email from the ministry of Kings Cross and one that I have written for in the past. Well, in all fairness to the team I did receive a calendar in January but had not heard anything since and had completely forgotten about my September timeline!! After a few moments of panic I knew there was nothing else to do but dig in and get to work. Since God has been leading me through Titus, that's what Faith Station would get.

So on Tuesday morning I started writing and by Friday at 6pm I was able to submit the final draft. I'm so grateful for crockpot meals, a hubby, friend, and parents who edit beautifully and a dear friend who fed my family one evening!

I did this one so quickly that I know there are inaccuracies, I know their are editing mistakes we missed, and I know I can look back and wish I had expressed myself differently, but all in all I'm so blessed by the grace of God to do what He opens the door for me to do. His strength is amazing and I'm so grateful for Him. If you get a chance to read through the devotional, I pray it is a blessing to you and that God speaks to you in new ways. If you want a copy, let me know and I'll email it to you.

Blessings!
Rebecca
