Harlem Baptist Church

We had the privilege of hosting Pastor Philip Vestal and his team from Harlem Baptist Church in June and had a wonderful time. Harlem Baptist has been a prayer supporter to the ministry for nearly 5 years and were so happy that they were able to come and be a part of the work here. During their week in South Africa they served the people of Phokeng, Freedom Park, and the Lighthouse and they were a blessing to us all! They painted, distributed blankets & food, and shared the message of Christ. Pastor Philip got to lead some of the men to Christ at the local AIDS Hospice and the team got to minister to those who were sick in the local villages. They did a 2 day VBS with our kids in Phokeng and we know it was a great experience for our children. Our prayer is that many seeds were planted this week in the hearts of the people. It was a great week and we look forward to the Georgia team returning one day.

The building is really coming along! How is Martha and family doing with all the changes? What do the children think as they see God provide this stage by stage. Sure miss you.
