We're experiencing frequent power outages, either from load shedding or municipality problems. The latest came at 6 am this morning. Can you believe just after my coffee pot finished percolating! And it came on a half hour later just long enough to warm up another cup! I'm pretty sure God loves me an awful lot!!
Derek and I were driving home from Phokeng last week and saw this helicopter hovering close to the ground. My first thought was, "Wow, they must be training officers in rescue maneuvers." But as we watched for a moment a whole new reality set in. Is this how every country repairs it's power lines? Hey if it gets the job done and I get to cook dinner for my family, I'm happy!
