Whatever the day holds...

Last week Derek and I were blessed with a week away in the African bush with no cell phone reception and no internet. Glorious quite for our rattled souls. It wasn't until day 5 that we started to feel some of the anxiety slipping away and now that we are back home, my prayers seem to continually circle around "Lord let your peace reign in me."

My love for God and His kindness keeps welling up, but the anxiety in my soul is very real. I feel remorse for the times I've told others to "give it time," when I struggle so much with wanting everything fixed Right.This.Very.Minute! God is teaching me in all this and I'm so grateful for it.

Life however, is still going and moving at a rapid rate at that! Derek and I are getting back into the swing of things this week with meetings, planning, ministry, admin, and maybe even a bit of fundraising.

Won't you please pray for us in the following ways: Peace to reign and the anxiety to keep slipping away, healing on our hearts. Pray against depression and wilting under burdens. Pray for wisdom and quick obedience to what God has in mind. Pray that we are a blessing to this nation and that our lives bring the redemption to the lost and discipleship to the chosen.

Thank you!
