Gotta brag a little...

Matty came 2nd at the North West Provincial Chess Championships. So proud of this little dude! Many Saturdays, Derek and Matt head off to a chess tournament. Matt plays 5 matches and in between each game he comes out onto the school lawn to find Derek with his iPad in his lap and coffee by his side. They spend the next 10 minutes talking chess and then Matt runs off to play until his next match. When Derek is allowed to watch he paces in the stands keeping his eye on Matt's every move, cheering him on no matter what the outcome. At the end of the day, Matt says, "Dad, you're my biggest fan!" I love this!! I am so proud of my little dude and my incredible husband.
