A van der Merwe Thanksgiving

For the first time in over a decade, our South African side of the family came to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. It was awesome!! Mom was a bit jet lagged, but she hung in there for the whole day. We ate the most random food but it felt like a true Thanksgiving with everyone bringing their favourites. Kirsty and Alfie brought sushi, I had traditional green bean casserole and sweet potatoes, the guys grilled amazing ribs, and I made Annah her favourite of chicken legs. We had such a fun day and the only thing missing was my dad!
