Food pantry

I have the privilege of leading our Helping Hands ministry at church. Its a small team with a pretty good little budget. I'm grateful for the freedom my church gives us to pour into various ministries in town and to support projects in local schools. One of my responsibilites is filling up the food pantry and making sure families in need have a food parcel. Another team member packs the boxes and organises donated items, but I get to pack this cupboard. You don't not know this about me, but I love packing cupboards. The straightlines, the abundance, the pretty colors all in a row. Yep, yep it makes me happy. Anyway... shopping for this each month and stocking these shelves brings me immense joy and getting to pray for the families who might need this food is such a privilege.
