What we've been up to:

Our DTS (Discipleship Training School) began on July 16th and we are having a wonderful time! The students are amazing and God is already working. Each of the students and our one staffer came with the hope of hearing from God and growing in intimacy with Him. They are all committed Christians who feel a call on their lives to serve the Lord. We are so excited to be able to facilitate an environment for them to be trained and empowered in God's Word and in missions.

On August 11th, we held an all-day event for the teenagers in our orphan care project at the YWAM base. The YWAM School of Biblical Studies team was with us and taught the teens how to study the Scriptures for themselves. At the end of the day Derek and I were able to give each of the young people a Bible of their own. Thank you supporters!

The YWAM DTS and SBS team divided the teens into small groups for question and answer times. This was a favorite of all the teens and we have now added these small groups to our regular Monday ministry times in Phokeng.

With the help of Reaching a Generation we were able to distribute clothing and shoes to over 160 children and adults in Phokeng in the last two months. What a blessing these gifts were to everyone. Thank you RAG for making it possible! RAG is giving food parcels to each of the children and our YWAM base provides one meal a day Monday to Friday for the 40 children in the program.

All the young people got track suit pants and golf shirts. Many were able to get jackets and we have seen them get a lot of use in just the last couple of months.

Thank you all for your support. We are so grateful for it! Just look at what God is doing through it.
