We love this family! Wim and Mireille are leaving South Africa this week but not before pouring out blessings on so many different ministries and children. They spent time at Agnes' House and Martha's House cleaning, repairing, and installing new kitchen cupboards. Through the help of others back in Holland they purchased supplies for the Sunday School departments at three different churches. And thanks to those contributors, in the weeks ahead we will be laying tiles and installing burglar bars at Agnes' House. There's more to list, but I think you get the idea. They came to South Africa to bless and that is what they have done.
The photo below shows them with a trunk full of baby formula. They've been driving all over and going to countless stores because they know this particular formula is the favorite of a children's shelter in Johannesburg where they will be visiting later this week.
What a blessing to spend some time with them over the last month. The love and warmth coming from this family was good for all our hearts! After the 2nd or 3rd time we were together my daughter Kyla told me that she didn't like Jeannette or didn't think Jeannette liked her. I was so sad for her and asked why? She said, "she never talks to me." I explained that Jeanette only speaks Dutch and that she doesn't understand what Kyla is saying. The next time they played together Kyla kept running to me to explain all the different words she was hearing. After that, language didn't seem to hold them back. Thank you so much Wim and Mireille for sharing your lives with us this past month. You are a blessing!!
