Sick Week

In the midst of everything going on right now, the flu has hit our home. Both Derek and I have struggled for days with a high fever, aches, and now stuffy heads. Rest seems the be the only cure. The kids had so much patience with us during the long holiday because we did nothing fun at all. I'm on the mend, but now Derek has the worst of it and Matt has joined us.

I'm teaching this morning and believe God wants to bless us with an incredible time in His word, but my head is fuzzy. Yesterday my prayers went about like this, "Lord, right now my brain can't keep up with anything and I'm so glad that I can trust you to lead me even when I can't even think straight."

So if you would please pray for healing in our household from this flu and that even in the midst of it the work we must get done would be easy to accomplish and purposeful.
