Knitting in the near future!

With the help of several very gifted women we have begun two projects for 2013 that will inevitably empower the children at Martha's House and Agnes' House, but hopefully also provide for future financial gain as well. Our knitting program will begin in February with the first project of blankets and smaller, simpler pieces the children can create to master the task of knitting. We have several avenues to pursue in selling these pieces with the profits being returned 100% to the individual child creating them. We are delighted with the potential this holds for the children and their future. The benefits include fine and gross motor skills, creativity, small business skills concerning investments, time management, profit margins, public relations, and much, much more! So exciting!!!
