I really love the South African system of year round school. We get lots of breaks and for weeks on end it feels like Saturday everyday! We get lots of time to play with the kids and we usually take short road trips to interesting sites. Next week we are off to some nearby caves and the candle making factory!!
However, ministry life doesn't stop. At this moment I'm sitting at church working on two upcoming women's ministry events and am busting at the seams with what God has in store for the women in our community!!! Derek is in a prayer meeting in a room nearby interceding for our city and our church family. And the kids are playing outside, inside, on top of my desk, under my desk, and in general having a great time waiting for mom to finish!
The Rasimone outreach is going soooo well. The church family there is unbelievably precious. I'm hoping to make some brownies for Derek to take tonight, time permitting!! With baking the kids can help me and the know they get to lick the bowl. I got to teach last week at Rasimone and was spoiled as we moved out of the tent and into a nearby home with a heater and everything!!!
For the next few weeks I've got lots of admin to finally finish and I need lots of prayer to get it done. I need wisdom, favor, and patience. My kids will need patience as my face will be stuck to the computer screen for hours on end.
Derek's always on the move and in demand, but His greatest prayer need is time and self-discipline. It's hard for him to say no to people, but He must if He wants time with Jesus like He needs.
Thanks so much for all your prayers and the faithful support of our family and ministry. We are blessed!!
