Seeking a Heart Like His

My Wednesday morning ladies group has decided to study David for the remainder of the year. I did the older version of this study on my own nearly 9 years ago and am so excited for my friends to experience the richness of God's word concerning the life of King David. He was such a remarkable man! In our current group we have young new believers and devoted woman of faith and the combination makes for celebration week after week. We're several weeks into the study and today some of the women shared how they are applying what they see in David to their own life. I'm overjoyed and thank God for the privilege it is to host these special mornings in our home. I'm finding my own prayer times far more filled with David's psalms than they have been in a long time. I pray these next two months will be life changing as we study the man God himself recognised as one 'after His own heart.' That's what we all want ourselves!
